Load test with the 625 Before & after...

Bought another grip to try on the 625 ACP. Loaded a few 255 gr. with some 800X. Seemed to shoot it ok, but those heavy loads aren't fun to shoot.

The moon clip with the holes up in the air, the round at 5:00...did the case split or is that just residue?
Those are some great groups, and a great looking revolver you have there! The ammo looks pretty good also.

That's some good shooting right there. Those big 'ol SWC bullets would be like being hit with a barn door.

Good shooting and great looking gun. The case rapidray is talking about is indeed split.

The 625 is an outstanding revolver. Yours is typical of the breed, accurate and beautiful. The grips doubtless help moderate recoil. I have found Pachmayr Presentation grips to be very effective in helping deal with heavy loads especially in extended shooting sessions.
