    My Latest Three-Inch

I really do think this is the best trail gun ever.

I did have the rear sight gap widened for my old eyes and I put laser grips on for when the new gap doesn't do it for me.

    But......mainly, it's another Three-Inch.

Gotta have'em. Had this one for a while and already had many trails.

    Same Thing But Different

My 3" Model 60 is a wonderful "Trail Gun". However, mine is a modern MIM/IL version (60-15) that has a coupla differences from the original. I gotta say, even though I have a strong preference for earlier S&W's, this "Pro Series" Model 60 earns my respect.....

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride! ~ Hunter S. Thompson

    I don't have a 3", 38 anymore. I have to be satisfied with a 3", 63-5, 22 LR.

Seems it would be a good little eastern "Woods Gun." Eight shots of 22 would keep the pine cones and such at bay, and would make a "bad guy" think twice.
