    My newest S&W

    Just brought this home today, canít wait to shoot it. 1954 pre-28 Hwy Patrolman in like new condition.

    I would love to come across a 4Ē 28 in that condition. My 6 inch model 28 is 10 years younger than your fine specimen. Having used mine over the years it isnít as nice as yours but, it is so good that it has become my go to .357. While it isnít as finely finished as itís model 27 brother, it is as good in all other respects. I know that you are going to love that 28. Congratulations!

    It could be the name, or the no BS finish, or maybe just it's imposing N Frame goodness, but whatever it is these Model 28s are always a favorite at the range and the last gun most folks would sell. Congratulations on a fine purchase.

    Holy Smokes! Great looking HP! It was made to shoot and has just sat there for 65 years, enjoy it ( but clean the cosmoline out of it first)
