    At any rate it's a very nice heirloom, I'd be pleased to have it! Regular shooting & cleaning won't hurt it, will be a lot of fun & it'll be around for future generations.

    Thanks for the welcome gang. Yeah it's worth more sentimentality to me. Just wondering about the history. As just recently doing my homework on old Smith wheel guns. Yeah definitely gonna keep it even if it turned out to be a factory Marine or Navy Victory model worth alot.

    Also why frame would this be as far as holsters go? I'm a lefty so hard enough finding a new pistol holster that's not a universal. I have his old basket weave eighty but would like to get a lefty. May have to go with the uncle mikes nylon but would rather have a leather one. Thanks and for y'alls time and responses.
