    44 magnum barrel swap

I like the look of tapered barrels compared to bull barrels. Would I be able to have a model 24 pinned barrel on a model 29 no dash frame?

Yes you could,,,BUT,,,,you will need to shorten the rear of the barrel because the model 24 barrel extends farther into the frame than a model 29 barrel,, because the model 24 has a shorter cylinder than the 29..It is no big deal for anyone that knows how to change barrels on a revolver,,Shorten barrel and recut forcing cone..is easy,,,Finding a model 24 barrel is the hard part...Another option for a slim barrel
is if you could find a model 29 mountain gun barrel.. good luck.
