    add-on sights

Pkpkay posted pictures of his 1940s 38 S&W, if I'm not mistaken it's got a coustom rear sight on it. My ? is can I do this to my colt. It's an army special in 32-20 with a 5in barrel. Have any of you ever had this done with a fixed sight gun.

Simple answer: Yes, it can be done.
More complicated answer: It will ruin collector value & need some modification by a decent gunsmith who can mate existing components & won't be cheap. The frame would require some work w/ a milling machine to attach rear sight, new sight some milling. Raise height or replace front sight. Sorry not me - I retired.
