The only pin shoot I ever participated in was long ago at Malmstrom Air Force base in Great Falls. I used a 4” 29 I had at the time. 16.5 grains of Blue Dot and a 215 gr. SWC. The shoot was set up indoors in a small testing area. The pins didn’t stay on the table long, (2.6 seconds) but the surprised looks from the bystanders after the noise and muzzle flash subsided was priceless.

As for shooting bowling balls, a guy who I used to buy all of my shotgun reloading supplies from was limping. I asked him what was wrong. He told me that he was shooting and thought it would be interesting to shoot a bowling ball. He said that he hit it center, but then in slow motion he watched as the 230 gr FMJ from his .45 auto bounced off and came straight back hitting him in the thigh. Luckily I guess for him, it was just a bruise, but it was a BIG bruise.

Ebay has some used bowling balls for about ten bucks. Where do we have it shipped, Daryl?
