Fiocchi makes a run of factory load .455 every so often.
It's what I've used in a MK VI and husbanded my brass carefully.
    A soft .454 bullet using 4 - 4.5 grains of Unique.
I've used .450 Corto brass in a pinch also.

If you have a lathe you can undercut the rim on .45 Auto Rim brass to .045" rim thickness. A good machinist can do some cleaver stuff.

Size: 36.7 KBFirst determine if an old .455 has been altered to .45 Colt or .45 ACP before you buy it. You can actually do better obtaining cases but you should pay less.

Midway was selling cases last I checked. I simply buy 250 grain lead cast .454 bullets.

If you acquire a .455 Webley converted to .45 ACP do NOT fire factory .45 ACP in it. Have some one competent check it from A-hole to appetite before proceeding!

I enjoy these old veterans, just educate yourself before diving in.

^^Highly recommend YouTube film offered above.

Buffalo Arms makes .455 Mk I brass (expensive), Starline makes Mk II (somewhat cheaper). Any gun will shoot the MkII.
