Hughes Holster...first impressions after a month.

Ok, it's been about 30 days since I bought this OWB from Hughes Holsters, for my 1911. I wanted a no frills, heavy leather high ride holster...and that is exactly what I got. I would prefer a little more cant but i don't mind it the way it is. I bought the "Patron", unlined, for less than $40. I don't think that's too bad, not to mention I didn't have to wait half a year. When I bought mine, they were offering free shipping too. Their website isn't anything fancy but then again it doesn't need to be...I guess.

I'll post an update in 6 months or so...but for now...I'd call it a good option.

The look of quality. Good design. Little doubt that it'll do the job it was intended for.

It looks nice a well built holster. A copy of the Bruce Nelson, which became the Avenger in the Bianchi line. I have one by Nightengale Leather.

    Keep us posted.
