I decided to try one of these wall hung cabinets as it seemed like a much better way to store and access my firearms. I chose the key lock option over the swipe card as I trust a key a lot more than a battery.
The hardest part was hanging it.
It is a good solution to safe gun storage and complies with state law. Me likely!

I've seen those. Looks good. I like most anything made of wood.

It's not really "high" quality wood....matter of fact I think they may use old pallets.....BUT...I didn't really want it to look too fancy-schmancy and attract excessive attention.

The back is plywood and will be capable of supporting some handgun hangars.

This will be MUCH easier/faster to access in case of need, according to my latest drills...

Your drills will tell you something..one way or tuther..

In all honesty..it's made..OK. The frame is stapled together..and when I said they used pallet wood..I wasn't kidding. The finish was quite...aromatic..I let it air out in the shop for a few days. Ah..well....if it was made like a wooden vault with fancy hardwoods..it would probably have to cost a LOT more...so I'm Ok with OK. Hinges and gas lift pistons are of good quality. Cheapo locks..but they work and are hidden.

Best part is it's up and functional. On to other projects..
