ANYTHING that "government" promotes: Just follow the money

From solar power, to electric cars, to shutting down "big coal", etc........JUST FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Big Donors=Big Government programs to force Taxpayers to pay it all back, and make Donors RICH.

"Over the last 30 or so years, the renewable energy industry has received well over $100 billion in federal, state and local handouts. Yet these are still fairly trivial contributors to America's overall energy production -- supplying somewhere between 5% and 10% of the nation's total. The rational solution would, of course, be to eliminate all federal energy subsidies and simply create a level playing field among coal, nuclear, natural gas, solar and wind. "

There's a reason they need those subsidies: It's called EROI- Energy Returned On Investment. Wind and Solar will never get off the subsidy gravy train- EVER.

We had a many months' long battle in our area about a company that planned to put a wind farm on a mountain that is VERY visible from where most people in our particular development live. The turbines were way higher than most, and it took a lot more than statistics about how much MORE wind farms cost the public than standard electricity. Finally the project was put on indefinite hold and now one of the local conservation organizations is attempting to buy that 6,000 acres to keep it from being used for that purpose in the future.

It takes a lot of hard work on the part of citizens to fight these alternate energy scams, but it can be done! Yes, they are scams.

Contractors to candidate: 'we'll support some candidate & pay to trash their opponents. To us it's an investment, the one who sends us the most business gets the support - the other gets destroyed... which one are you?'

Money is the grease that keeps the political machine running. Without it things would grind to a halt, and most self-serving politicians would seek other occupations.

You have to acknowledge that motivation behind large donors of the over $10 billion "donated" to candidates in the midterm elections was not just altruistic. It represented an exchange of value in influence for money. The 2020 elections will likely break records.

Billions of our tax dollars go to benefit a few under the guise of aid, grants, or loans. There is an oligarchy that pays off Senators or Congressmen that sell a “consumer protection” issue that in the end rapes the middle class.
Laws are passed to make money for large companies, eliminate their competition, and line the picketsof a select few, under the guise of helping the public.
Billions in foreign aid, like $1.8 billion given to the Ukraine, disappears with no accountability, and people like Hunter Biden gets tons of money as a board member.
Do you really believe the billions in CASH Obama gave to Iran all went to the Persians? Check Obama’s wealth before and after his Presidency.
He and muchelle were given $63 Million by Netflix for books, show, whatever.
    It was a blatant payoff.
Government is as corrupt as well used outhouse.
