    El Paso "hero" caught lying

Security video shows that he was NOT throwing stuff at the shooter, or taking any action at all. In fact, he had a warrant for his arrest and was a fugitive from justice.

Grant and his family were invited to The White House so that he could be recognized for his alleged act of heroism. As he and his family arrived to meet the President on Monday, the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) arrested him.

That old saying "Well, ya knows how dey lie...", is there something to that? I mean look at 'em all, Smollett, Brown, Hill, now Grant. Should we still keep pretending there's no trend here?

Yes, I know we should, I'm sorry...

Well... whatever the guy was arrested for and got a warrant issued on him, he didn't seem the least bit worried about it. Wandering around in shopping malls. Went to on national TV to brag about his heroic fake deeds. Visited the White House.

Apparently, the only people doing their job was the Secret Service. The agency that issued the warrant wasn't interested in extraditing. So.. the "fugitive from justice" is free do do as he wishes. Gee... how surprising is that?

My wife reads a local blog of arrests. Mostly theft, drugs and violence. Same names... over and over again. Why bother arresting them? In places like Dallas, TX they won't even charge a thief with theft under $1,000 if it's stuff he "needs".
