I see Bolton is no more...

Read yesterday that Trump 'fired' Bolton. He said he resigned. whichever way it went down, in my view it's all good. Bolton was a war monger anyway and that don't intertwine with the Trump philosophy.

Kind of surprised he lasted as long as he did. I bet he and Trump had some interesting (and heated) conversations.

Also read he was at loggerheads with Pompeo.

I think Bolton was the right guy. His general position is that you really can't make deals with actors like the Taliban, N Korea, Iran, Palestinians... et al. I agree with that general premise.

If we wait long enough before wiping these actors off the face of the Earth, particularly those with access to missiles and nukes, we're going to wake up one day after suffering an EMP and wonder why the lights don't work. Then it will be too late. In a fraction of a second America will have morphed into a medieval death camp.

I had always liked Bolton, but as ambassador to the UN. There can only be one boss for the cabinet. Some either disregard or forget this.
