Howdy Brit29. Welcome from Texas. Had the immense pleasure of 4 years in British schools, and British pubs! Sat O and A levels in Somerset and South Wales, respectively. Would return in a heartbeat if I could bring my shooters and could afford it! There is a spot in Maidenhead, right on the Thames, where I have never felt quite so comfortable and "home". As if my DNA originated at that spot.

We love pictures, and there are sticky threads in the forum how to post. Not difficult, just find the icon in the row above your post window, next to what looks like a bit of film, and has a dot in each corner. I think self-explanatory from there.

We look forward to your sharing pictures and tall tales! Like we say in these parts, "pull up a stump and set a spell!"

Welcome to the forum from Pennsylvania. You have come to the right place if you want to learn about S&W's. I am often amazed at the level of knowledge available here and it extends to other than just Smith and Wessons.

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot to be learned here and they're a friendly bunch. My Dad was from Mansfield, my Mum from Sussex - yeah hard to fathom I know. ( I was never allowed to say "bloody" anything or me instead of my) Ha!
I'm in Canada now. We can own and fire handguns but not carry or conceal, and can only shoot them at the range. Our barrel length is restricted as well, to the longer ones, but at least we can shoot.

Welcome from Arizona, where people are free. Don't be afraid to ask questions - the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask (because then you won't learn).

Well Brit29 from London , I've been known to tell a joke or two .

And I've heard that an Englishman laughs three times at a joke.

The first time when everybody gets it, the second a week later when he thinks he gets it, the third time a month later when somebody explains it to him.

    Is it true ?

Regardless , welcome to the Forum , where the love of S&Ws abounds .

    Cheers

Thankyou sdismukes!!!! I know these places well in the UK mate.....as for British pubs....say no more (hic) lol.
Thanks for your advice about posting pics here....will give it a try.
Got so many tales to tell man.....my late aunt and uncle lived in Vegas many years ago. My aunt favoured her model 29...while my uncle prefered his model 28. She was a little person....shooting this hand cannon lol. My uncle, while we met in Canada, gave me his 357 mag........sadly it's still there somewhere.....couldn't bring it home though to UK and get nicked. A long prison sentence here for owning a firearm such as this.....grrr
    Thanks mate.....stay in touch !!!!!
