I'm new also.....from CA also. The "folks" here are wonderful. I just finished a NRA gun safety class in Milpitas. Top notch program. Would highly recommend it. Because of my advanced age, I am interested in knowing how a gun is passed down legally in California.

from Nebraska. Nice looking handgun. I inherited a H & R .32 from my grand father which looked similar to yours but had a hammer. I think it was made just prior to WWI. I gave it to my son and it burned up when his house burned a couple years ago. Hope you get tto enjoy yours and pass it down to the next generations to come.

    From South Carolina!
You will find many very knowing and caring folks here. Nice pistol, seems I recall my uncle having one very similar and it too was in .32 short, I believe, or 32 Smith and Wesson. I only saw it a couple of times but after I entered the service and got sent overseas I lost track of him and later heard he had passed. I have not been able to figure out where it went. But I can tell you that the model dates well back because I learned that it belonged to my grandfather. I would agree that it should be early 1900's....I seem to recall grandpa saying he purchased it around or right after WWI.
I have a treasured photo of Gramps standing next to a model T, and one with a Mack dump truck, with solid tires and chain drive!
