    Newbie to this forum

I've been following this forum for some time now but only recently signed up. My first gun was a 4" 28-2 that cost me about $105 OTD. Had to give my dad the dinero cuz I wasn't old enuf for the paperwork. I also have a 64-3 and my CC is a 637-2. I also have a few Ruger revolvers (wrong forum?) but I'm partial to the Smiths. I'm not much into the semis but I have a 39-2 (1972), primarily for the nostalgia factor for when I sold them (and 59s) in a cop shop years ago. That was back in the late 70s before the plastics became popular. I really like my 39-2 and have learned a lot about it on this site, as well as other good info. FWIW, I got a Lifer NRA membership back in 1980 for only (by today's standards) $200. Hopefully in the future I can give some positive input. Thanx for taking time to get thru this.

I drove by a sign that read, "Remember...Only YOU can prevent forest fires." It made me wonder why I was the chosen one.
