    M. Peraltas mine & J. Walz had another is just north of Black Canyon City. I-17 separates the two mines. Get off I-17 @ the Bumblebee exit & go west towards Bumblebee - & there is a sharp curve in the road. Right on the curve on the right side is the reains of the Valenciana Mine operated by M. Peralta & later later worked under the name Gloriana Mine. J. Walz's mine is east on the other side of I-17. It was later named 88 Mine. He camped @ the entance, where I found the old moccasin, Indian relics, etc. The mines were on the topographic maps years ago. The Spanish fort is along the Turkey Creek road which leaves the Bumblebee Rd. about 1/2 mile south of the village of Bumblebee. The T. C. Rd forks north from the Bumblebee Cabin Rd. This rd. get's very narrow. The fort is about 1/4 mile north of the junction on a hilltop across a canyon & can bee seen from the Road. A cowboy (now dead) I knew found a breastplate & musket there about 40 years ago..
