    S2F-3 1960's Grumman anti sub VS sonar dome, sonar buoys in the rear of the engine nacels, anti sub torpedos in bomb bay, or depth charges.
    if they picked up a contact the crewman wold deploy floating magnesium flare to mark the area.

    It's a Stoof..... I crewed its cousin, the C1A onboard the Forrestal 72-75. I also got to ride in a ROK Stoof back in the 80's. They recently replaced them with P3s.
