Born and raised in the KC area. Maybe one of the best football towns there is. The game had my blood pressure into 4 digits for about 3 hours, but I'm still here. We had a bit of a scare around 3:00 this afternoon when our power went out. I bugged out for my daughter's house an watched a little of it there, but shortly after the game started electricity was restored to casa fuego, so I came home. Sports bars are not my thing.

Gonna be a crazy week in this area code. The parade is Wednesday and a couple of large school districts have already cancelled classes, so students can attend. Unless the sky falls, I would not be surprised if over 2 million people were at the parade and rally. It's going to be nuts but in a good way.

For many years, when the Chiefs seemed to choke in the playoffs, I said their motto was, "Wait till next year." That takes on a whole new meaning now.

It was interesting: a Championship football game, the National Latino Twerking Match at half-time, and a great come back by a young, articulate quarterback.

If the half time garbage was entertainment, I'd rather cut the grass or rake dead leaves.

    Some stats that amazed me:

    Ticket cost in 1967: $15. Ticket cost 2020: $2500.

    30 second commercial time price 1967: $75000. 30 second Commercial price 2020: $5.6 million!

No inflation..yea..right. Personally I would not go to a game if they paid me the $2500...

I was listenin' on the radio for the last quarter. I got worried when they were down 10 with about 8 minutes to go. Then I was relieved when they scored a touchdown, but was upset they were only gonna win by four. When they scored that last one I hollered.
Wish I woulda gone to the casino and put a Grand on 'em. They were only favored by one.
Ya'll owe me a Grillion dollars.
    I'll take cash.

I did watch the game but couldn’t stomach the halftime show. I wanted the Chiefs to win mainly because I like Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. They are both class guys. My love for the game has dwindled with the protests and all but I still like my Cowboys.
