    I flew a 1944 vintage P-51D Mustang, converted to a 2-seater, on 1/28/2020

I wanted to fly a P-51 Mustang WWII fighter plane ever since I started flying in 1975. For the first ten years of my flying career, I wanted so badly to buy a P-51 Mustang, but I could never afford one.

I finally realized my dream of flying a P-51 Mustang last week. I flew it well. I did aerobatics and I even performed the landing. I never thought the flight instructor (a former Canadian Snowbirds pilot - the Canadian version of the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds) would let me land the P-51, but I performed a perfect landing!

Stallion 51 owns and operates two P-51s, both converted to 2 seat models called TF-51s. The one I flew is named Crazy Horse 1.

If you want to watch my Bucket List flight, feel free to download the file from dropbox. Click on the link to start the download process; allow the video to download completely before making any attempts to watch your video. I hope you enjoy my video of the most exciting hour of my life.

P-51 is one of my favorites would love to take a ride in one , when I started driving 1989 met a elderly part time driver that soon retired . He went by the handle Fling Witch , was told he was a P-51 pilot. Glad you flew your dream unable to down load the video .

Oh how amazing that must have been!!

My dad was an A&P for years, and has TONS of hours in the air. He had the opportunity to fly a P-51 back in his early 30's. He always talked about it.. still does. What an amazing airplane!

Congrats to you fulfilling an important item on your bucket list!

Man I'd love to go up in a P-51 Mustang.
I flew in a buddy's Super Decathlon a couple of time's and I thought that was a wild ride.
And if you don't mind roughly how much did it cost?
