    For The Artsy Craftsy Types

I want to make a simple square wooden frame with the wood to form it being 1 inch x 1inch. I need enough to construct a rectangular frame of 13"x21" . What would I ask for at Home Depot or Lowe's? Oh, if you are hauling off to tell me to cut this material down from a larger piece of wood, save your bandwidth. My woodworking tool to do the cutting is a coping saw.

Get Home Depot or a lumber yard to cut the pieces to size for you, they'll charge a little but already have the saw & know how to use it. I'd whittle them out of a telephone pole w/ a pocket knife before I'd go to Lowes.

Thanks, I'll look into having it cut at HD. Thanks also to you nascent democrats looking to spend my money. It has too many places to go as it is.

Y'all know I'm joking. Besides with all the money I have to buy a saw, socialism would be my only route to that Makita. My new furnace has a slot that is 2 incheshigh. They only make a filter an inch thick. The opening to pass it through is 1 1/2inches high. The frame is to hold the filter up to the opening.
