Plumbers.. they either are dumb or laid back...

Unbelievable.. The hose for the flexy faucet got a leak, when we were running it , it was filling the cabinet I thought initially I had a waste issue...? Off to home depot for putty, Job done but figured out hose had a leak... Went to Home Depot again ( best store in the world) and picked up a " Universal" hose kit.. First off, for anyone out of the box, who can figure one of these out, could do brain surgery.. Had to pull out waste disposal, and a litany of plumbing, to even access the fittings.. I'm thinking there is a poor guy, that has to do this " Mierda" ( Spanish word, Wendy banned me for ) every day... while I got done in 2 hours with some ( according to the wife) colorful language. Job unexpected done, I feel so sorry for every plumber going to work tomorrow.... but I'm blessed to be able to do it

Plumbing isn't so tough. You just have to remember, hot water is on the left, cold water is on the right, and poop runs down hill.
I'm Mr Bad Example, take a look at me.

A plumber friend says he doesn't get paid for the work he does. He gets paid for what he is standing in when he works.

One thing worse than plumbing and thats painting a house which I am currently doing! Will probably take another Sunday to finish the job, can hardly wait for it to be done. I put it off for a couple of years because of illness and now I am paying the price.

All the home projects I tackled myself in my 30's & 40's I am now paying a professional to do. I guess I just got lazy or feel like I earned the privilege. In the past 5 months had my home's wood fencing replaced with vinyl, complete new HVAC system and 2 plumbing repairs (kitchen faucet & MSTR BDRM toilet tank replaced).
