Why can't I eat as much as I used to?

I have no idea why, but I can't eat near as much as I used to. I just turned 54. I remember I used to go to a buffet and eat several plates full. Now, I can barely eat one.
Bad part is, I ain't losin' weight.
    What's up with this?

I’m 55 too. Our metabolism slows down as we age and what we eat takes longer to burn. That’s why my pants seem to be shrinking : (

I'm 60, and I still hit .400 in the Knife & Fork League. That's why I'm about 40lbs heavier than I want to be.
