Anybody carry a 686 Plus 3" barrel IWB?

I have always carried pistols IWB without any problems. I just bought a 686 Plus revolver with the 3" barrel and would like to carry it both OWB and IWB. Does anyone carry it IWB and have holster suggestions and a first-hand report on how practical this is?

    Hello, Adman.
I’m brand new to this site and this is my first post! Your question is exactly what I was going to post!
    Hopefully we’ll get good responses.
    Best,

I only carry my 686 in the winter. Here’s the rig I use to do that. Made by Lobo gun leather. Was not cheap but worth every penny. Name: D81365AC-37AB-489C-BCA3-D02E67439950.jpeg

I tried a mod 66 with 3” iwb and didn’t like it. Weight didn’t bother me as much as the adjustable sights. I have carried my 3” mod 65 iwb without any issues but I normally carry a mod 60. A lot smaller profile makes it much more comfortable.

I have used thus very often with my 3" 686 plus. Worn at 330 -4 o'clock I find it very comfortable for all day wear. I also use a leather owb but this is easy on off so is often my go to. I don't carry appendix much but if I run over to the community mailbox it conceals easily under a tee shirt at 1 o'clock. Been very happy with it!

Just get yourself a Mitch Rosen OWB and call it good. You won’t be sorry.
