    Holster

I have a ballistic nylon cross draw holster for my 460 XVR but I'd like to find a leather holster to carry it in. Seems as though holster makers make holsters for the 460 but none produce a leather holster (cross draw or otherwise) for the 460 XVR with a 14" braked barrel that is also scoped.

I sent a message to Galco last night to see if they could custom build me one, haven't got a reply yet. Don't mine paying for a custom built holster but it must be designed for a scoped handgun and I prefer a cross draw (right hand) rig.

Anyone have an insight as to where I can get one or have one custom made?

Hunting season is approaching and while the ballistic nylon one works, I'd like to carry it in leather if possible.

Well Galco replied to me a short time ago. They will not make a holster for my 460. Scratch them I guess.

Forum member Snubbyfan makes custom holsters to sell. A few others do also, I'd try them.

Ever give any thought to an across the chest Alaskan style holster? Those I've seen in leather, and commonly made for the big boomer X-Frames and Alaskan Redhawks, both scoped and non-scoped.

Wonder if Snubby would build me one? He'd probably want the revolver to fit it.... lol
