National Constitutional Carry Reciprocity moves forward in the House

The national Concealed Carry Reciprocity bill (in the version that embraces the citizens of Constitutional Carry states) moved forward yesterday in the House:

    https://www.ammoland.com/2017/11/con...two-gun-bills/

This is a good bill, and needs your support when it comes up for a vote on the house floor.

It's interesting how the current scandals have completely kept this news out of the mainstream media. Seems that in programs and publications too full of the fake, the real news gets lost.

    - - - - -

Note that separately, a very bad bill aimed at adding many otherwise and innocent solid citizens to the NICS list of prohibited people is also on it's way to the house floor. Most significantly, there are tens of thousands of military veterans that served honorably, but whose injuries prevent them from managing their own affairs - and these people (by virtue of medical and Social Security based orders) are going to be prevented from having access to firearms.

Movement of both bills together has nothing to do with "fairness" or "balance" and will not add support for the CC Reciprocity bill. Make sure to oppose the draconian NICS FIX bill.
    Cheers! Marc

Great if it goes through. But, lots & lots of enemies to this.

I could carry legally, traversing California, instead of cutting through ZNevada.

It should be of great interest seeing how Chicago, New York and NJ would be affected. Rahm and DeBlasio would have cows. Popcorn time!

The bill, as currently written, would supersede local and state regulations, including magazine restrictions and approved gun list restrictions.

The current situation (without reciprocity) is so absurd that similar rules could prevent you from driving your powerful V8 equipped truck with a high capacity gas tank into a state or city using your home state issued driver's license. Driving and vehicle ownership are considered a privileged, and the current infringements on gun ownership, possession and carrying affect a constitutional Right - demanding much stricter scrutiny of such local and state prohibition laws.

This is a bill that's time has come. It is in direct reaction to all the local and state infringements and will be an effective response.
