I served in an infantry mech unit and was the radio mechanic. The battalion went through some kind of trial on what kind of weapon I would carry. it went from the M16 to the M1911A1 to the M3A1 then to the m16/243. The grenade launcher was great. I always thought it would to be great to play golf with one and inert rounds.
