Gun Show Finds This Week end. !!!

Small local Gun Show this weekend. Found two good buys . #1 Ruger Single Six in Stainless Steel with ( REAL) stag grips. Could not believe that they were real stag. i got the gun at a hell of a price because it did not have original grips ?? and box and paperwork. almost brand new. Derringer was in fantastic shape 98% original blue with original grips.

#2 High Standard 22 Magnum Derringer . Pre DM model with low serial number in great shape. Been looking for one of these . Both Gun"s for $550. Dealer just wanted to sell something . I don't think he realized that the stag grips were real and the High Standard was a pre DM model. sure wish it had the box and paper work BUT I am not disappointed. Name: DSCF3792[1].JPG

There was hardly anybody at the show. I think the dealer needed to sell something to pay his expenses . The Ruger Holster came with the Single Six .22. My best gun show score in a long long time.

No sense buying a lottery ticket as your luck was with these little gems. Great pair to pick up and the stags are icing on the cake.

Congrats, glad you found some cool guns you’ve been looking for. I’ve all but given up on gun shows. Same old stuff, high prices and such.

Did some checking today on the stag grips. They were made for the original Single Six. They were taken off an original Single six ( blued) and placed on the Stainless Single six. They are over sized also. Sure wish I knew who made them but one of my gun friends says they were probably made in the late 50s or early 60s right after the Single Six came out and may have come off the factory engraved model RSSE. Either way they are very old and not of modern production ..

Anybody have any thought?? Love to hear your comments and opinions !!
