At least no one is arguing about the dryness of your sarcasm.

The Mrs saw a nice looking mountain lion in the morning; all I've seen so far is a pig and bobcat. Haven't heard of any kills in our "neighborhood" this winter. This AM found a large, ~9"x13" blood stain on hard ground near the house, don't know time factor.

A friend called this morning, they saw the 1/2 grown black lion cub in Richland (about 10 miles from here).

Think it could be related to the one you saw a little while ago?

More likely the same one, 10 miles is nothing to a lion.

I'm thinking the same. It would make for a great pic, any game cameras out?

Though there are rumors of people seeing Mountain Lion tracks out in the Berkshires, not near me thankfully! I don't put a lot of faith in them. Maybe, a big Bobcat? I don't think that anyone has actually seen one!!!! It would be smart to carry a .357.......instead of a .38, if that was case. But, in any case.....there's not many of them. Bob

The Mrs told me about a big cat sighting some distance from out county, west of here. Not an exhaustive internet search and I haven't researched this article, quite interesting.

Of particular interest to me is the jaguarmundi and the habitat of the state's sky islands.

Would love to see a black mountain lion...we have a pair of lions (not black) that sun themselves on the green of a local golf course, I've only seen them in pictures in the 5 years we have been here. Have seen quite a few bobcats, typically in the 20 pound range
