    Any info on this little gem?

    Recently bought this with original wood grips for $250 used. I’ve not seen any with the stainless cylinder and blued frame. It’s an airweight no dash model 38. It carries very well.

    We sometimes refer to them as "pintos". S&W made a batch like yours for Michigan Police Supply starting in 1969, also 1969 is the year the J serial # prefix started... also could be one converted.
