You are welcome. An odd turn for a 2.5 year old thread, but glad you enjoyed. Welcome to the forums.

I've never been a fan of SA revolvers except for front loaders but my Cimarron Model P .45 is one I'm happy to have. Accurate and a hoot to shoot.

I have a Great Western Sheriff Model made with some of the parts that Colt had sold to Great Western when they had decided never to make the S.A.A. ever again. Needless to say that decision by Colt did not last long.

This gun has a hammer with firing pin rather than the Great Western frame mounted firing pin.

That Uberti my friend had is finally mine.
I got it in a trade for a Ford F-250 I had that I blew the engine. Her husband is a great mechanic, and he got it running like new in about a week after we made the trade.

Cliff, WendyZXZ, charles and 1 others like this.
Teach them the truth, and let them sort thru the cobwebs of liberalism that have infested their minds.
When the time comes that I don't want a new gun, call the undertaker!
When they come for your guns, give them the ammo first!
.45 ACP, Because shooting twice is just plain silly!

Someone here wrote dissertations or publications about revolvers? Collect information on this issue. I need to gather as much information as possible, I will be grateful for any help. I need to find her for PaidPaper as soon as possible as I have a deadline in less than a month.
