    Walmart Really Dropping Ammo Prices

Was in the area Walmart today. Federal 9mm was $15.00 per hundred, both aluminum and brass cased. $29.00 for a 200 round pack of Winchester 9mm. Winchester .40 caliber was $25/100, had been about $32. Federal 158gr 357 was $21.00/50, had been
$25 and change a couple weeks ago. Federal 223 was $25.00/100, was $30 a couple weeks ago, and 200 round packs of Winchester 5.56 was $49.00. I grabbed 110 rounds of the 223 but think I will go back for the 200 round pack of Winchester 5.56. Pistol ammo was getting low with 9mm being probably in the shortest supply.

They weren't marked as a clearance sale, but prices are definitely reduced..Tons of 22 ammo and I bet they will keep selling that. I imagine now that they have marked the 223/556 down that it will probably go fast.
I should get a couple hundred rounds of the aluminum cased 9mm for shooting when I cant recover the brass. Pretty hard to beat $15/100. As I recall, late in the Obama years the Federal 9mm hundred round packs were going for $25 around here at Walmart.

I spoke to a salesman in one of our Walmarts and they are just trying to off load what stock they have in handgun ammo before they no longer carry it.

Talked to my Walmart ammo associate couple weeks ago and he said they are not ordering any more but will keep on selling until run out. Well my guess is they are lowering prices so can run out and meet their "goal". I got some Aguilla from my Gunsmith friend for 85.00 for a 1,000. Walmart can suffer. I will support the local guys. That price does beat Walmart's price.

Walmart always beat the gun shops 'hands down'......in the past, particularly for Winchester ammo.....which I always buy. It may not be the cheapest....but you get what you pay for. An extra buck for 115 gr 9mm. practice ammo ain't gonna break anybody!!! I buy American guns and ammo. Bob

Since I reload for all my handguns, its the 223, 5.56 that's interests me. 200 rounds of Winchester 5.56 for $49.00 beats any price I can find in the area by at least 5-6 cents per round

Walmart has ammo? I have never purchased any gun related from Walmart. Maybe it comes from living in a leftist college town, but they never even had 22 ammo. And evem before all the anti gun businesses BS. only one local Walmart was actually set up to carry guns. it isn't anymore.

Guns, ammo, holsters, knives, hunting licenses, hunting gear . . . the targets were almost sold out. PA deer hunting season is only 10 days away. One of the nearby Walmarts even has a few reloading supplies, like CCI primers, dies, Hornady & Sierra bullets and a very limited gun powder supply that's usually sold out

Hadley, Mass. is one of the most liberal towns we have, after Northampton......but the Walmart there has tons of ammo and everything, except guns. Federal 9mm. 200 pk. is $30, Winchester 9mm. 100 pk. is $15....this is 9mm. 115 gr. FMJ. They even have Winchester JHP Personal Protection 125 Gr. +P for $25/50. I was tempted to buy more 9mm. but I have enough and there ain't much room for any more! Bob
