    Iver Johnson 1911 A1 Carbine

Have anyone here seen or fired one?
16 inch barrel and attachable rifle butt.
    Overall length is 35 inches.
Was browsing GB for a 45 ACP Marlin carbine and now I think I've got to have it.

Saw one but didnt fire it. Looked well made - made by S.AM. in the Philippines for I.J.

Watched it cycle well, fresh out of box.

There aren't many video's out there about firing the Iver 1911 carbine, but no one had any complaints about the pistol itself.
I'd get a shorter barrel for it (6 or 7 inch) and a drum mag for fun day's of wasting $$$ and ammo.

Just found out that my idea for a shorter barrel would be Illegal.
Still for $600.00 to my FFL it's getting tuff not to hit the buy now button.

You would've thought they would have wised up about selling making such pistols.
