Hi guys I'm new here, I'm joining sites with a knife and blades section hoping to meet someone with a great antique collection. Yeah I have a collection of knives from the WW's and I would like to know if there's anyone here who does the same?

It's pretty much more of a hobby to me, it's really my passion. My wife even hates me for spending too much on knives. I'm already into collecting even before I started up a business on this.

Hoping to meet people here with the same passion as mine.

Welcome to the forum.

Take a look around the knife section and you will see several members here have some really nice blades. Leighton and Wendy will be along, I am sure, to welcome you and show off just a bit.

Alex,
Welcome to the best forum on the web. Pictures are a passion around here. There are some very nice knife collections here for sure.

Wendy,
I never knew you were a blade collector. My wife has one that she had my name engraved onto. You can probably figure out what she plans to use it for (worst case scenario).
She'll never get to use that knife. Been together 21 years now and it's has never been removed from the scabbard.

I am not really a collector or at least not in the same league as some other members here, but I do own several folding knives(Kershaw, Benchmade, and Spyderco) as well as four Randall knives that I showed the pictures of in the Randall a few threads down from this one.

A very good friend of mine owns Blue Star Knives - specializing in Randall's.

He's the author of Randall Knives - A Reference Book (maybe you've heard of him).

If you like Randall's, you outta check out his website.........

Hi, Alex, and welcome to the best forum on the net.

I'm not truly a collector, more like if I see something interesting, I'm likely to grab it, like the damascus blade Parker -- not an expensive knife at all -- that I found at a gun show a few years back.

Also, as noted from a couple other threads here, I always have been big on the "pocket tool box" approach. For my money, the Victoronix Swiss Army Knives, especially the Tinker model, one of which is always in my pocket (and was in my briefcase back in the days when I had to wear a coat and tie to work) are the most useful knives ever designed and built. These days, in retirement, I am self-employed in property management. More than once I've pulled out my always reliable VSAK and changed a plug or made some other minor repair right on-site without needing to go back to the car and pull the toolbox outta the trunk.

So any time I see a nifty pocket tool box, if it isn't too expensive, I'm likely to grab it.

Again, welcome.

Bill
