Thread: Snap Caps for dry fire practice? Help-Pistol/Revolvers use

    on my pistol I used snap cap, what i Used to do is to fit 1 randomly in the mag. it really help not knowing when it will be the dummy round to see your mistakes

    When we transitioned from 38's to 9mm on NYPD they would have us load spent shells. You learn to clear malfunction and also stop anticipating the round going off. This way you do not dip the barrel down. They taught us to squeeze the trigger so slowly, that you do not know when the gun will go off. This was with striker fired and double action only 9mm's.
