My past 10 months of purchases!

    DSC04514.jpg

Hello all! Here is a picture of my 4 pistols I've purchased in the past 10 months. All intended for self defence/carry. First one was the S&W .40 Sigma at the top.
Followed to the right by my second purchase, a 9mm Taurus PT111 intended to be my wifes first shooting experience. My third purchase at the bottom
a S&W Bodyguard .380, also intended for my wife, hopefully she'll one day carry. And last but not least, on the left is my new .45 Taurus PT145. A weapon
I picked for me that has all the things I was looking for in a carry piece...Compact, 10 round mag, and a manual safety. Plus in all my purchases, for me, price
was/is an object. I think I may be done for now, with self defence weapons. Now maybe a .22 cal "plinker!" I like the looks of the Ruger SR22
WendyZXZ, 19and41, Shep and 4 others like this.

You have been busy Pop's. I too just picked up a Bodyguard 380, I find it a great little gun to slip into your pocket and go.

    Pops,
That's a solid collection you've built up there.
So how does the misses like her pistol? Does she practice with it, or carry it?
It's a good start, that for sure.
    Just remember it's not an addiction, is just adding to the collection . . . . . . . . . . . regularly.

    Regards,
    Gregory

Gregory, My wife has come to accept the guns in the house. And she has gotten to the point where I think
she feels much more secure when we go out, and I carry. And she has gotten to the point where she is appreciative
and glad she has the Taurus 9mm at the ready, at home during the day, when she's home alone. She has learned
"how" to handle, hold/grip and use it. But I have yet to get her to take the time to go to the range with me...something
she must do, and soon. I do have confidence in her, that if someone was breaking in, she'd "greet them" accordingly
But, she NEEDS to go shoot the thing! Then I'll work on her carring the BG380. Baby steps!! And Bud11, no revolvers
YET, but someday...yes! I am admittedly a semi-auto kind of guy though!!

Nice collection. Like potato chips, you can't have just one ...
All but one of these was bought in the last 8 months ... and two of the little ones will be sharing a cubbyhole to make room for my new-to-me Smith & Wesson 910S ... coming home on Wednesday.
