    CS40?

I am thinking about getting 1 of these but know nothing about them so i thought i would ask on the forum. Does anyone have experience with this model? Are they reliable, and what is an average price on a good used 1? All responses whether positive or negative will be appreciated!!! P.S. I did a search here on the forum and found very little info.

    Thanks Vic.

    I have owned a CS40. Don't have it anymore-----BUT WISH I DID.

Get the hidden message? It is a fine weapon.

    Re: CS40?

These pistols were relatively short lived... they are DFM (Designed For Manufacturing) guns and the overall lack of detail shows it. Flat sides, coarse slide grooves, less than subtle radiuses all give the CS guns a sort of 'clunky' look and feel.

However, by most reports they shoot and carry well.

Coincidently, I had a NIB CS9 offerred to me yesterday for $550. I passed and I bet the seller come back to me in the next few weeks with a price alot lower. I've made up my mind that I'm not paying more than $400 if I buy this gun....

    Re: CS40?

It was on an auction and went higher than i was willing to pay so i passed on it.
But thanks for all the info i appreciate it. I own a couple of Sigmas and like them so maybe i will look into a M&P next.

    Thanks Vic.
