    Unhappy Bodyguard .380 feed failures

Well my laser screw is stripped out and nearly every magazine has some type of failure, usually the last round sticks up out of the slide. The gun is well taken care of, cleaned, oiled... I've tried light oil, more oil, different ammo. It just seems like this gun has one issue after another. Anyone else aggravated with this gun or maybe knows whats going on with it? At this point, I wouldn't come close to carrying this gun or trusting it outside the range.

First of all to the Forum.

Second, very sorry to hear you are having issues with your BG.380, I carry one on a daily basis and have had no issues. I only have about 3 to 4 hundred rounds through it, but it has been flawless. The first thing I did was put a drop of blue Loctite on the laser mounting screw, because I read that some people were having trouble with the screw backing out. If you continue to have issues I would contact S&W and let them know.

Thank you. I will contact S&W and send it in. After re-reading my original post, it really seemed like I was slamming the gun. Let me say, I love the gun. I enjoy shooting it and the size is perfect. I think that liking the gun so much contributes greatly to my aggravation. I just want to get it straightened out so I can carry it. Even with the rounds being weaker, I'd rather carry the bodyguard over my shield.
