This gun is just another Sigma, priced for less than $300 on the web, and sold by my LGS for $259.00. There's a reason why we, the taxpayer, purchased over 17,000 Berettas 92 F's to be given to the Afghan "security" forces to replace the Sigmas we originally bought them. If someone offers you $150.00 for a used SD40VE, I'd jump on it, kiss him, and be done with it.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it's in English, thank a soldier.

Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing an idiot.

    John,
Have you polished the feed ramp and the chamber throat?

I did polish the ramp but not the chamber throat.

Polishing the throat may not help your problem, but it won't hurt it. There are some videos on YouTube that cover how to do it.

I think I will do that. It really is not much of an issue. I will just use these lead bullets for my 10mm.

I decided to try to shoot it from a rest and see how much I was contributing to the issue. It turns out that I was about 50% of the problem. I guess I need more practice shooting the 40. It does still shoot low and left just not as bad. I ordered a rear M&P Sight and I will install that to adjust the Windage. I will see where the height ends up.

In the end you all got me excited about a new M&P. I really do not need another full size gun. I decided I needed a pocket CC gun. So I am now the proud new owner of an M&P Shield in 9mm. It shoots GREAT. I love it.

Thanks again for the help spending my money.
Nice pick on the Shield! They sell like hot cakes around here, so they are hard to find. I had an older SIGMA in .40, but besides the crappy trigger, it shot well.
I would rather die on my feet, than to live on my knees.
