I am looking to replace the sites on my model 469, I really love those White DOT Sites that my Step dad's brand new Stainless steel Remington 911 45 pistol has.
I like to find out what would be better, Red dots sites or a lazer site?

Try Xpress sights, formerly Ashley Express.
XS Sight Systems - Sights
Their big dot front sight makes for fast acquisition.
What about a bolt on red dot tactical site?
Red dots and lasers are not allowed in IDPA.I like a white dot on the front, but plain black on the rear.Lots of folks like a fiber optic front sight. I'm not a fan of them, but I see them used quite a lot.
Thank you for letting me LaMat.
If I recall the 469 has a fixed front sight. And it is not milled for a low mount rear sight. You will need machine work plus sights. And if you have to ship the slide off to have the work done. You can add the shipping charges. It can get costly quick. You may be better off finding a used top end from a 69 series pistol. I picked up a 6904 top end for a 469 that I have problem solved.
Thank you Jim, I've decided to learn with the sites that came with the gun, get good that way no cheating or using lazer for me.
The money I save from the sites will be used for ammo when I need to go to the range.
I cannot wait to get my snap caps.
The best advice yet.
By the way What a rare very rare gun you have named your self after
