If the problem is FTE (Failure to eject) try a 22 match reamer for the chamber. It will take care of that problem
Hi! Model 41 Cycles Perfect With 7'' Barrel with CCI Standard (Plastic Box) and 6.5 lb Woffe Recoil Spring. I Prefer to Use My 5" Conversion "Field Barrel". It Won't Cycle reliably with this ammo and spring combination. I Don't Want to Change Ammo. What Should I Try to Correct Cycling with the Shorter Lighter Barrel? A Heavier Or a Lighter Recoil Spring or Something Else? Please Help! MetalMan15

I don't know much about semi-auto pistols, but perhaps the recoil spring for the field barrel is too strong for the standard velocity ammo. Try using the other spring. In the field, most people use high velocity ammo....not std. vel.! Just a thought.
I used to have a Browning Challenger, that wouldn't cycle HV .22 ammo right.......so I traded it for a K-22, and never looked back! Bob
