Snakedriver, I never said you where a buying service, but surely you can a help a fellow serviceman with your experience and discussion with others as you posted in your reply. Again, I am not interested in GunBroker, two guns ordered from so called reputable dealers and two issues. I will never buy a firearm through them again. If that works for you, am I glad you had better luck than I did. Most of the time when you go to a specific brand firearm forum, the folks there have purchased and had enough experience with specific dealers to make suggestions and referrals and that is what I was looking for here with all due respect to all? Thank you for taking the time to post, I appreciate the suggestion for Veridian. Thank you for your service to this great country.

QUOTE=USMC Snakedriver;132118]Shooter, where have you looked so far? We aren't a buying service, but we can suggest what works from experience and discussion with others. Try Gun Broker when you decide what you want. Veridian makes a good green laser, check them out.[/QUOTE]

Thank you sir. My wife has the 9MM version of this gun so even though it is a smaller gun in size, Maybe I can get a feel for it by putting that grip on there and seeing how it fits my hands which are XXL. Thank you for answering that question. That helps a lot.

Charlie, the truth is I never meant to offend anyone, I just don't have a lot of time for meet and greet right now and a lot of the times when I have done this on many of the forums I am on, very few people ever respond, so you feel like you not welcome anyway or folks just really don't care, especially when you see all the people who viewed your post and maybe 1 or 2 percent of those people take the time to say hello. You did not over step your bounds, you where very kind and respectful and I appreciate that sir. Thank you again for your welcome to the forum. I live in Southwest Va and beyond that I really can't share a lot of what I do or who I am due to the nature and restrictions of my work contracts. Thank you Charlie

Please take no offense. I apologize if I've overstepped.

Welcome, Shooter 1103! Hope this site meets your expectations. I've learned one heck of a lot about a lot of things from many folks who have much more experience and knowledge than me on this site. I have a ton of respect for the "usual suspect" posters here...I'm still a "newbie" but am constantly learning. Best of luck, friend. cw

I will second the recommendation for J&G. I ordered my first gun from them in 1982, and the most recent 2 years ago.

I've purchased 3 handguns and my Mosin 91/30 from J&G, and they're top drawer. I once ordered a SIG P6, and they ran short over the weekend in sales. The computers weren't keeping up with the actual inventories. That next Monday one of their sales people called me and explained the jam they were in. He offered me an extra mag for free, if I would be kind enough to wait for the next deliveries. I agreed. 4 days later, another sales person called me and my FFL dealer to let us know the guns had come in and it was being shipped out that afternoon. 2 days later I had my pistol in hand, and was very pleased with everything J&G did to meet my needs. I've heard similar stories on Thehighroad and Thefiringline forums as well.
Once you find a dealer you trust and can work, with it's a good idea to recommend them to all of your friends. It keeps them in business, and keeps everybody happy and supplied with what they need.

    With highest respect,
    Gregory

Thank you CW and Gregory for the help. Just checked J&G but they don't have the gun I am looking for either. It might be, I am not going to find the 45ACP full size version of this gun. Seem's no dealers have them and if they do, they are royally screwing the buyer over on price. Might have to wait till Smith finally ships more of this product. Thank you to all those that offered help and didn't give me a hard time. For those that did, ignore works great....LOL and shame on them.
