I just started shooting at the end of October 2011(64 years old). The first gun I bought was a 22A-1 with a TruGlo red dot on it and LOVE IT! I started out using CCI Mini's and never had a problem. Tried some Federal bulk and had a few FTF, FTF's and jams. Discovered the CCI Blazers 40 Lead Round Nose on line and have been using them ever since. I have put about 4,000 through the 22A (and Ruger 10/22) with very, very few FTF's. I buy 5,000 at a time from Palmetto State Armory. Cost, including freight, comes out to about $3.21/100. Can't beat that with a stick. Very accurate as well.

I got the 22-A about 2 months ago and have shot around 2000 rounds through it. With Federal bulk I had a handful of FTF, but it eats those CCI Blazers like grandma's biscuits! Have been considering putting and optic on it but havn't gotten around to that yet. I keep buying guns and never seem to get around to finishig what I wanted to do with the previous one. I like the trigger BTW. My experience is the pull weight doesn't play as big a role as the smoothness of the pull as long as it doesn't take a gorilla to pull it. Mine is easy to pull and keep on target through the shot. Havn't even measured it because I like it whatever it is. Will do that today and post this evening.

    Trigger pull 5 1/2lb avg.
