Does this fit? It is a pre war Military & Police Target.

hmm, 2 sets of prewar magnas in only 10 posts. Stocks/grips worth as much, if not more than, the guns wearing them. Keep 'em coming everyone!

    Re: Show off your M & P's (pre-Model 10's)

For a long time I shied away from M&Ps because they seemed sort of plain vanilla to me. But over the last year I have come to like the variety that can be found in these guns. These now live in my safe:

A target model from 1935, with an original grip adapter.

A five-inch 1905 from 1926 -- the third 1926 gun in this thread! Must have been something magic about that year.

    My youngest M&P, a postwar S-prefix snubby from 1947...

And my oldest, a 1902 First change from 1904:

Now that I am out of denial and feigned indifference, I realize I am probably going to need a few more of these before I'm done.

I have a couple of these! (Not sure of the dates)

    A five inch 32-20, serial 943xx

Another 32-20, this one with a 6 1/2" barrel, ser # 753xx* (back to the factory for something?)

    My 38 Special with a 5" barrel, ser# 667xxx (late 1930s?)

All have been ridden hard but still respond to a gentle hand.

This is a nice thread that is much appreciated. Here's some of the M&P residents from the retirement home for used M&Ps. Some are better than others. Yet another 1926 gun is among them.

I am surprised there are only a couple dozen photos!

What cool guns, the coolest to me are the snub nose. All of these guns speak to me of America, history and the people who carried them in a time of need, and still do.

    Americana at its best.

    OK, Here's a couple more:

1905 38 spcl maybe from the '20. Ser #459xxx. Any chance that's close to any of the '26 guns?

    A 32-20 from the late '20 or 30s.

And a Victory 38 spcl. with no US Property stamp, from the '40s.
