Not a four inch , but the best DA trigger I've ever had.

I've never fired an "N" frame.
Congrats on the new gun! You're going to love it. I have a 6" version but have not been able to find a 4" that I wanted/needed/could afford.

I think your bank account is about to take a hit when you find out how many other N frames you really really need...24, 25, 27, 29, etc.

Sounds like you got a special revolver that will become much more so after you get to shoot it. My 66 is nice, but is now basically a .38 special thanks to the N and L frame Smith in the safes.

Three cheers for your 28-2, and heck, another three cheers for the cheerleader. Post pics of both

Sounds like a great first N frame, everybody should have at least one if not more!
Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone.

Great choice! My first N frame was a 28. Still have it, but I'm kinda ashamed to say that it's my only N frame! I've been planning on fixing that one of these days...

Mike, these are the stocks I mentioned.
I'm not certain if they're S&W stocks or not. More than likely not seeing the checkering on the other stocks shown above.
Somebody else here that knows more about these than I do will have to let us know.
I can tell you, they're beautiful, and in nearly perfect condition.

Teach them the truth, and let them sort thru the cobwebs of liberalism that have infested their minds.
When the time comes that I don't want a new gun, call the undertaker!
When they come for your guns, give them the ammo first!
.45 ACP, Because shooting twice is just plain silly!

Gregory, those could be Sanderson grips. Can't make out the stamp inside the left panel.
