    S&W .357 Magnum Highway Patrolman

    Just jointed the thread thought I would show you the .357 mag I bought new in 1970. I've only fired 20 rounds through it. Have a good one everybody.

    Very nice. There weren't many of them made. Most of the Model 28s were 6". The SCSW doesn't mention any 4" guns made before the Model 28-2 and they were specially commissioned for the New York State Police and would be stamped NYSP under the cylinder on the left side. I don't see any stamp on yours so it should be pretty rare.

    Guy here is a PRE-model-28, 5-screw, 4-inch barrel. BTW those Grashorns really dress up your 28-2.
