    Model 25-2 value

The LGS has a Model 25-2 with presentation case with tools and papers. It has been fired some. A very nice gun. He has it priced at $825. I hang around there more than I should but it's fun and the wife doesn't care as I'm retired. I could get it for less but I don't know what a good ball park offer would be. Any help would be appreciated. I know it's tough without pics but it is in very nice condition. Thanks in advance. Best regards Dick

Well....it isn't NIB. It has been shot some. That means it's a used gun! That loses value. Even though it has the presentation case, and everything else. Must have a turn line on the cylinder. So it's Like NIB. Condition means EVERYTHING! I'd offer $700, because it's going to be a back and forth battle, you need to start off low. My guess is....it can be had for $750+ some change. Bob

    Dick ,

Model 25-2 with presentation case with tools and papers.

    U could prob sell the case , tools , etc for $100 + , if u wished to .

    It has been fired some.

    Very subjective

    A very nice gun.

I would guess , based on your limited info ( what barrel length ? ) , $750 or a bit more as Bob said would be a decent price - in my neck of the woods .

If the guy doesn't want to dicker don't take it personally .

I wen't back to the lgs and took a better look. It has a six in. barrel and appears to be shot more than it looks. The lock up is not near as tight as my Mod 57-no dash even though both are N frames and the serial numbers are fairly close N6xxxxx. He won't go under $800. I'm going to pass on this one. Thanks for the replies. Best regards Dick

I would have passed on that one as well. The 4" can be different since you don't see them often and everybody is trying to get them.
