    10MM Revolver

S&W at one time made a revolver for the 10MM. I can not remember what the model designation was. Anyone able to help me out with this?

My 610, with a five inch barrel and my 1066, both very good guns. The 610 has the versatility to shoot both 10 mm and 40 S&W, and for that reason I have hung on to it; I sold the 1066.
Someone once commented that the 10 mm was what the 41 was meant to be and I am in agreement. For handloaders I think the 10 mm is a good outdoorsman's round, from what I have read the 10mm can be loaded to exceed 357 ballistics with heavier bullets.

Dang it, Tripplelock. You're not helping anything!

Interesting comment about the 41. I never thought of that round of lacking anything as a sportsman caliber. Especially for the handloader.

I think what the commenter who made the remark about the ten being what the 41 was intended to be was specifically in reference to law enforcement use. Some of the gun scribes were hollerin for a revolver with equal knockdown wallop as the 357 with less recoil - and the 210 gr. lead-SW police round at a little over 900 fps was the intended bullet, but some departments were issuing the hot 210 JHP and in the model 58 the recoil was of near 44 magnum force.

That Nightguard is ugly. I will take Triplelock's 610 though.

After getting a 625' I had no idea just how nice the moon clips were. They transform a revolver into a fast reloader. I guess the 10mm is a pretty brisk round.

Now I need one. But they are sticking it to you on Gunbroker. Entry level Python prices.
