    Old School Sixguns

What's your favorite? Make mine .45LC....I've owned Colt SAA, a Smith 1938 New Service, but my favorite is the lovely and talented 25-5 4".....Powerful..Practical and Packable....I've loaded 260 gn lead to do 1100 fps...That's what Old School Sixguns is about..

Those are really pretty stocks. Did you make them & what wood are they?

    Joysee,,

I edited it for a slightly darker one, you caught me twixt the initial one and the final, my apologies...

    Frank,

They are Kim AHRENDS Retro Banana grips, tung-oil finished, maple. The fit and performance are exemplary. Kim is great to deal with, but his work is popular - takes 'bout 9 weeks for delivery. Here's a pic with the packaging card:

This is my favorite old school at the moment. Just a plain, old Model 36..............

I'll let this photo speak for itself.
