    S&W Model 15-3 K38 Combat Masterpiece

    Model 15 Combat Masterpiece.jpgModel 15 Combat Masterpiece 2.jpg

I am looking for mfg date: Ser number: 1K60988 and this one is "Cherry" in every way; I only remove it to clean and then place back in the safe.

I have had this 15-3 seems like forever and still looks like New. I still have the S&W cloth zipper pouch to store in the safe.

That gun would have shipped in 1971. Looking good for 40 years old!

VERY nice. Keep shooting it, and looking that good, and someone will really thank you 40 years from now.

    That is an excellent example!

Big fan of the weapon here.

Thank you for the date of 1971... Well; here goes, the gun was stroed in a safe all of its life and was not shot. I will not shoot it either...

I have a Nephew that would give his "Hat, ** and coat" to put his hands on this S&W. But I will put it back in the safe and maybe, just maybe 40 years from now someone will open the safe and thank of me... You think?

I had a "Heart Transplant" March 7, 1996 and I acquired the pistol at that time from a friend, a very good friend at that too. I will not put any blimishes on the pistol either. My "home Defence" is a double shotgun and I also use 'cut shells' in each barrel.

For those of you that are 'too young' to know; Google shotgun cut shells and see what you have been missing...

That is a pretty six-gun. Wish S&W would go back to the old good look.
